Alice in Tinyland

Alice in Tinyland is a group of microscopic images created in a laboratory.

Just as Alice accidentally falls down the rabbit hole to enter a wonderland where she experiences a series of fantastic stories, the creator of this work insists that the entrance of a microscope is also a gateway to the world of difference and she is the Alice who travels in this world. Using various materials, she explores and utilizes the laws of nature and awakens the inner power of matters, so as to create a natural wonderland beyond human visual perception in such a small space.

These kinds of “nature” that exist in reality but cannot be touched are finally revealed through painting-like microscopic images. Abstract images evoke our known memories and lead us to the thought-provoking fantasies.
